We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 1-21-13 Email

Hello, how is everyone? So, there were some random changes this week: yesterday, President Lopez came to Martinez and took Elder Carmona with him and now Elder Carmona is the new assistant to the president; from yesterday up until tomorrow I am with Elder Peña and Elder Diaz (his companion was also taken to Xalapa because he is really sick); and tomorrow Elder Huamán will be my companion and Elder Peña will be with Elder Diaz until Peña ends his mission (next Tuesday). So, that will mean that I have had 6 companions in the same area. Prayer is sooooo useful in times like this. I'm hoping that I get transferred in three week or whenever, haha. We baptized Iris (the mom of Irene Isabel who was baptized a month ago) and Luis (the brother of Irene). Elder Carmona was supposed to baptize Iris but he left at 4 and the baptism was at 6. He found out he was leaving after church so he couldn´t say goodbye to anybody. We have a baptism for this week as well, Kevin (son of Rosalba and cousin of Iris). My health is good, but I have a killer headache which is probably because of the many things that have happened recently. Thank you for the updates on MoMo, I am praying for her. Thank you for the pictures as well. So, everything is swell here in Mexico. Time to go. I love you all.
