We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 3-11-13 email

Hello family, How is everyone? I am great. I did tell you last week that I was transferred? My new companion, Elder Johnson is super cool. Our area is the nicest area in the whole mission. We have a massive mall the has McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Carl's Jr., Chilli's, and a bunch of other things. We have a Walmart and a Subway. We have an incredibly, incredibly rich neighborhood where the mission president and the stake president live. We are going to baptize this week. Time is just flying bye. I don't have my new direction yet. That is sooo awesome that Bianca is working at Taco Bell. That means that in 6 months I will be expecting free food, haha. Well time for me to go. I love you all.
