We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 3-4-13 email

Hello family, Soooooo, I have more changes, haha. Tomorrow I will be transferred to a different part of Xalapa. What is is happening is that they are spliting the Xalapa zone in two: the Xalapa zone and the Alborada zone. I will be going the Alborada zone in the Alborada ward. I will have the southern parts of Xalapa. My companion will be Elder Johnson, he has a year and 2 months in the mission, I know him, he is cool. We baptized two people this week, Dulce and Eric (her son). It was an amazing service. So there you have it, I get get to open up a new zone again (I opened up the Martinez zone as well). I don't know my new address yet. I will tell you next week. They you for the picture mom and for the information on Adam and his wife. I'm so glad that all is well. My health is good, haha. Next week I will celebrate 18 months in the mission. In half a year, I will be home!!!! Is everyone excited???? I am, haha. Do you have a "Preach My Gospel" in the house? If not, you should buy, no, you need to buy one and study it as a family. It isn't just a manual for missionaries but for any member. Ok, time for me to fly. I love you all.
