We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 3-25-13 email

Hello, How is everyone doing? I am good. We had an amazing baptismal service yesterday. We baptized four people. President Lopez baptized three of them (it was the first time that someone has asked him to do it) and I baptized one. We baptized the wife and two kids of a recent convert, it was amazing. The other picture is of another girl we baptized, she is the daughter of an inactive sister in the ward. Initially, only the wife of the convert and the daughter of the inactive were planning on getting baptized. But one of the girls got to church and she wanted get baptized too, so we did her interview. Then, after church when the mom and daughter were getting dressed in white the other daughter saw them all in white and then decided to get baptized as well. It was a great day, haha. HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY NYAH!!!! Wow, 12 years old!! Alrighty, time to go. I love you all.
