We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 5-20-13 email
Soooooo, How is everyone?
I am great. It is supeeeeeerrrrrrrr hot here in Tuxpan. My new companion is Elder Gontes, he is from Mexico City. I already miss Xalapa. I am assuming that I will be ending my mission here. My direction is: 5 Calle Rio Azul, Lomas de Tuxpan Fovisste, Tuxpan, Ver. Tuxpan might be spelled with an -n or an -m at the end. Everything is great here. I haven't taken pictures yet, but I will this week, haha. We are working super hard so that we can baptize and never stop until I end. I am thankful for all of the support there at home.I am completely focused on this great work, but I am super excited that in a couple of months I will be home!! Ok, time to go. I love you all.
