We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 4-22-13 email

Thank you for sending the song and money. How is everyone? I am great. I will be getting home on the 19th[September], it is a Thursday. We didn't baptize this week but we are going to baptize this coming week. I am sooo excited that in almost 4 months I will be home!! It also makes me kind of sad because it will be soooo different and I love the mission so much. I love the people, the food, the lasting friends, and everything. It is a great testimony builder. I am also super excited to start a normal life, haha. Thank you for your support. I love you all.
