We have 4 outstanding young men in our small ward in Liberty, Texas that have been called to serve a mission. It will be fun to have our ward family follow their experiences through this blog. Elder Clegg left July 20,2011 for the Idaho, Pocatello mission, Elder Waddell left July 27, 2011 for the Alaska, Anchorage Spanish speaking mission, Elder Escobar left in August for the Massachusetts, Boston mission, and Elder Tellez left September 14, 2011 for the Mexico, Veracruz Spanish speaking mission. We are so very excited that these fine young men have chosen to serve the Lord.

Elder Tellez 6-3-13 email

How is everyone? I am great. We didn't baptize this week. But we are definitely baptizing this week. Flor, the 18 year old girl didn't get baptized. We have left her for the time being. This week we are going to baptize a 20 something year old girl. Things are finally starting to pick up. It is super hot, haha. A brother in our ward is going to try to get us an AC unit. It is super difficult to sleep at night. Even with the fan blowing in my face, I still end up sweating, haha. Almost 3 months left!! I sent many pictures of the house and other things. Everything is good here in Tuxpan. Time to go. I love you all.
